Evening Question
Some argue that the Afghanistan War is the longest in American history. However, some critics say there is one that still tops it in terms of duration. Totaling 17.2 years (from November 1955 to January 1973), which war is America's longest in terms of involvement? The first correct answer in the comment section earns two CNN Student News points!

  • After lunch, we discussed our upcoming field trip on Monday, October 26, 2015. The field trip will be two-fold. The first part will be at Chunky's to see the "Goosebumps" movie. The second part will be a Three-Mile "Taking-a-Stand" Walk. To coincide with our Reading unit, students selected various causes to take-a-stand for. These causes included: feeding the hungry, helping the homeless, saving endangered animals, preventing bullying, promoting women's equality, showing appreciation for fire fighters, promoting animal adoption, Asperger's awareness, preserving the environment, helping Hurricane Joaquin victims, and diabetes awareness. Ultimately, however, students democratically selected a Cancer Awareness Walk. More information on this in the coming week!
