  • Morning Reading: Main Idea
  • Genre Reading: Reviewed "Shiloh" Test
  • Treasures Reading: "Letters from the Revolution"
    • Main Focuses: Word Families / Draw Conclusions
  • Students wrote thank you letters to the Catholic Schools Foundation. These letters included how long the students have attended the school, why they appreciate going to a Catholic school, their favorite thing they have learned this year, and extra-curricular activities which they are involved in. These letters will be sent out on Wednesday, October 21st.
  • Library with Ms. Marinas!
  • Science: Magnetism and Electricity 
    • Magnetism is a force that pushes or pulls objects.
    • Magnets exert magnetic force on objects made of iron, cobalt, nickel, and gadolinium.
    • An object is electrically charged when it gains or loses electrons.
    • Gravity is different from magnetism and electricity because it cannot be blocked, and it can only pull objects.
      • After reading, students watched "Bill Nye."
